Kodak No.4-A Folding Kodak, Model A
Although not in the Folding Pocket Kodak line of cameras because of its huge size, most collectors
think of the #4-A as part of their FPK series. First introduced in 1906, this camera produced six 4¼x6½
exposures on type 126 roll film. The model A version can be quickly identified by its wood standard
and lens board--later models had metal uprights and lens boards. These cameras are more of a great
display item than historically significant. Not made in great numbers, but still seen occasionally.
